Serenity

Bruna and I have been talking about serenity.  And in this world where we are called to pause or to act ...to judge or to tolerate...to love something old or hope for something new...is there a place in our homes or around our properties that we feel serene in spite of the imperfections around us?
Bruna and I both immediately pin-pointed our spots.
If you’ve been to our home you probably can guess mine.   Whether I’m standing, sitting, cleaning or cooking, in prayer or held-to-account, the narrow space between my stove and sink- most often positioned directly opposite a loved-one is my serenity spot.
What about you?  Is there such a place, that in spite of its imperfections brings you comfort?
Please share - with a photo and a few words about why it is “that place” for you.
